Fatburgers @ home, Purple FOTD, and fake Italian food :)

Hello,

So, you might notice some posts popping up before this one before the weekend ends...

What happened was... I got really lazy after my last attempt at posting was stopped by my camera (who deciding to re-format as I was uploading). That, also coupled with my power cord in my laptop no longer working consistently... I just didn't really feel the whole blogging thing.

But now that I'm back, I just decided to post all of the things that I had started that were sitting in my saved post thing. So scroll back if you like, and check some of those out.

But anyway. This weekend isn't over yet, but its been good so far.

Last night (Friday) we babysat, and decided to make some burgers at home. We kind of went crazy though and attempted a Fatburger-esque burger... so, sirloin burgers, lettuce, tomato, fried mozzerella, fried egg, ketchup, mustard, and mayo (and Kyle had pickle)...

Kyle had two, naturally.

Huge.

And no, we didn't die of heart attacks, just got a strong case of the itis and had to knock out lol. And if youve never had egg on a burger... try it... seriously... or just go to Fatburger :)

That was Friday.
Today we went and ate dinner with my family at Osteria del Figo on Howell Mill. Yummy faux Italian.

I used my 120 palette. Which I would have posted about, but um, the whole camera catastrophe... I got my for 18 dollars on this eBay store (thats after the coversion from Australian Dollars)... 3 were broken, but I pressed them with alcohol and every was straight. They're tiny tho, dime sized which I didn't count on, but ohwell... really great otherwise.

I also used the Eva Longoria palette from L'Oreal. And Revlon Lip gloss.

Using the HiP "Shocking Shadow Pigment" in Beckoning and IMAN Shadow in Enigma.

Using HiP Shocking Shadow Pigment in "Striving", Smashbox shadow in "Lagoon", and Jeese's Girl eyedust in "Summit Turquoise", which is a really cool white shadow that comes up turquoise. Swatched below:

Purple and Gold using Cover Girl (the center color in the "Golden Sunset" palette), Maybelline shadow in "Amethyst", and Femme Couture Mineral Effects shadow in "Rose Quartz".
And probably a black shadow too, on the outer V.

Except I used HiP Turquoise creme liner. Which has dried up so much... depressing.
Has anyone else had that issue?

Early Morning Tony...

Yeah, whattup?

Firstly... how lucky am I to have a precious love that loves to put fresh flowers around the house?

These were in the bathroom when I woke up, and theres some in the living room too :)
ANYWAY...

So I took a nap a little while ago, and I'm up waaaaay early for work (I usually am up at 3 am to be at work @ 5am-- I am the opener at a gym, just in case you were wondering), so I figured I would post up a few random pictures I took yesterday morning.

The issue I have with doing makeup for work is, since I do work at a gym, and most people come in there madddd bummy, so it's really not the spot to try to do all that MAC look type shit-- generally I try to just do a neutral brown eye, with liner and mascara... and blush and powder. It really is a lot of makeup for 5am, but I am the first person they see, and I do gotta try to look my best :)

This morning tho, I got really tired of brown, and tried to do a little purple... using the following:


What I tried to do was double line my top lid, with a thick line of the HiP liner, and a thin line of black, then line my bottom lid with the purple shadow...

Tried to wing it out a little bit. But those HiP colored liners are kind of wack. At least the purple one is. So it ended up looking somewhat the same lol. Oh well. Here's more pics of moi in my lovely work clothes :)

Womp. Oh well. Time to get to the gym rats again...
