Turquoise + Black Look && NOTD (Pardon my forehead...)

So, I've been MIA for a minute. No posts, no comments-- nothing.
That is chiefly because, with the start of the new year, came much B.S.
So, I've had a lot of random things to deal with since Jan. 1st-- even New Years was wack... I fell asleep at 11pm, and woke up because I heard fireworks @ Lenox Mall lol.

Fun stuff.

Anyway, I'm back. I have some time now, therein, I will be catching up on commenting :)

Here's a look I did today. Got really bored, and felt like using one of my X-Mas presents.

It's a huge kit, made by Markwin's International. They are the same company who makes Wet&Wild and Black Radiance. Have no idea where my mom found this.

But here is the look.
And I couldn't find one or two pictures that I liked of it, so-- naturally-- here's all of them.

Wow, my trash in the background... thats cute :)

Yeah, couldn't pick just one.
Here is what I used.

eyes:
UDPP
Light Blue (Markwin's) - Whole Lid
FlipSide (Urban Decay) - Half Lid/Lower Lashline
Lagoon (Smashbox) - Outer Corner
Shimmering Onyx (CoverGirl) - Outer V.
HiP Black Creme Liner
Maybelline Colossal Lash

face:
undereye concealer (read below)
MAC Mineralized Satinfinish Foundation (NC42)
CoverGirl TruBlend Powder (Translucent Medium)
HiP Creme Blush (Blushing 999)

Yep, like it? One thing about that Smashbox mess... its pretty much powder. Barely any color payoff. And they cost more than MAC, so I figured better quality? Wrooong. Maybe it's just this color, I dunno...

Anyway. Here's another random picture of a look I did the night Miss V. came back from Iraq (yaaaay! Btw :). I used my 120 palette, and some HiP Shadow (forget which one), and their crayon (in the tan color). I didn't really like this at all. I think I'm too yellow for the red looks lol.

Yeah, gross lol. Looks like fish eyes.
Anyway. I said read below for the new concealer I had found that actually covers up my undereye circles. I had actually bought it way back when I worked at Sally's-- but just started using it.

It's the "Yellow" concealer by Palladio. It's great-- if you have terrible undereye issues like I do-- try it. Its around 4 dollars, I think.

Lastly. Some nails.

Some Barbie Pink polish from China Glaze in "Make An Entrance".

--Adios.

Fill Space...random FOTDs.

Here is just a lot of pictures of random makeup I did awhile ago... over the summer and whatnot.

I was going to do a real post, but my camera decided to delete the 127 pictures on my camera-- kind of a buzz kill... but anyway, here it is...

UD "Graffiti" and NARS "Night Porter", mostly.
Coral lipstick from Revlon.

The only usable picture of my attempt at a "vintage" look. I should try this again sometime... correctly.
Red Lipstick from Palladio? It was awful.

Same night I did the vintage look, after I called Kyle and he said "No Red Lipstick"... lol.
Got rid of the winged liner and red lipstick.

Huge forehead... lol.
I used the "Olive It Up" palette from Revlon.

Using the HiP "Shocking Shadow Pigment" in Beckoning and IMAN Shadow in Enigma.

Using HiP Shocking Shadow Pigment in "Striving", Smashbox shadow in "Lagoon", and Jeese's Girl eyedust in "Summit Turquoise", which is a really cool white shadow that comes up turquoise. Swatched below:

Purple and Gold using Cover Girl (the center color in the "Golden Sunset" palette), Maybelline shadow in "Amethyst", and Femme Couture Mineral Effects shadow in "Rose Quartz".
And probably a black shadow too, on the outer V.

Sonia Kashuk® Perfectly Neutral Eye Palette

Before and interview: Sonia Kashuk palette again, used with the CG "Golden Sunset" palette.
Pardon the goofy pictures.

Hated this: UD "Peace" and a dark blue from the HiP Mischief duo.

Loved this :)... CG "Golden Sunset", UD "Ransom" and "Fishnet"... I'm pretty sure that's it, but this was in June almost.

Again with Goofy faces.
Did this look:

Except I used HiP Turquoise creme liner. Which has dried up so much... depressing.
Has anyone else had that issue?

And that's all of the old stuff I could find. :)

I got an Obama for my 21st Birthday...

Whattup...

I've been MIA. Just haven't been able to find the time to blog... but...

I GOT AN OBAMA FOR MY BIRTHDAY!

So-- Obama became president on my 21st birthday. Luckily I didn't do what everyone suggested and go get trashed... would have missed out on history, and probably thought I was trippin lol. I didn't really do much else, so I'm glad at least I'll remember that for the rest of my life :)

Me and my family just ended up going to Edo (this hibachi place in Toco Hills). Wanted everyone to have fun, and they did :) I also didn't really ask for anything, except a new sofa for my apartment-- which I got. I also got my 120 palette (which is in the mail), stuff from Pier 1, and lots of VS stuff from mom.

Fun times. Here are a few pictures...

OH. And my hair is different nowadays :)

Kisses before dinner.

Daddy, my cousin Uzo, and I.

Uzo, moi, Kyle, and my brother Marco.

My mom cancelled her flight and took a standby flight just to be there :)

Nerd.

Yes, my new vase was exciting.

Marco, Uzo & I...

Stole all of these from Uzo's facebook smh. My camera was being wack.

I also, got this free thing from Sephora for being apart of their insider club.

Sephora's version of the Philosophy body washes? Probably won't use it... but it smells yummy :)

Hmm, what else happened? Ohhh. Halloween.

I didn't do anything, because I was so sleepy from work all week lol. Wack, I know-- but its straight... I just took the little one (Keaton) trick or treating...

Ummm, not sure what he was.

That only took a second, since we live in condos, and not many people were home. We walked over to the neighborhoods behind us, but Keaton got scared, so we went back home-- smh. Kyle bought him candy though, so it was ok.

And lastly... I meant to post this a while ago. But I took a picture of my everyday "work makeup" the other day before I left out the house. Just the basic. Maybelline Mineral Power foundation, bronzer and blush from Red Earth (in Sun Dance), which I love. Got it at Ulta while ago.

I look really sad lol. I mean I probably was-- nobody likes going to work at 5 am. And just cause... swatches of my two favorite blushes. These are pretty much the only two I wear, probably because they are the easiest to grab from the top of my blush drawer lol.

Yeah, thats it...

Oh wait! Kyle won his playoff game on Sunday! That means tomorrow is the Championship game. One picture from after the game.

Peace.
